Rigging and Signal Person Safety Training
- Covers all training requirements per new federal regulation 29CFR1926.1400
- Upon successful completion, participants receive a “Qualified Signalperson” and “Qualified Rigger” card
- Provides knowledge needed to rig and signal safely on the job site
This is a must-have course for riggers and signalpersons to be safe and compliant for work. Class discussions and demonstrations will give workers explanations needed to understand the stresses placed on the rigging and load during hoisting operations. In addition, inspection and removal criteria will be discussed, and hands-on inspection is included. A written test and practical at the end of the class will assess each participant’s ability to solve rigging-related problems.
24-hour Fall Protection Competent Person
- Meets requirements ANSI 359.2 and the new 2014 EM-385-1-1 standard
- Upon successful completion, participants receive a certification of training
- Includes required 8 hours of hands-on activities for compliance
This course provides a comprehensive overview of fall protection that meets all the latest standards for workplace safety. The 24 hours of class time include in-class physical demonstrations and practical hands-on activities on how to properly select, inspect, install, assemble, and use fall protection equipment. Training also covers inspecting systems prior to use, installation, component compatibility, estimating free fall distances, total required clearance, dismantling, storage, and the common hazards associated with each system and component.
